What is "OTOESTORY"
"Otoestory"is the word we created by combining three word,
"Oto(Japanese word for "souund"or"music")
"E(Japanese word for "paintings")
and Story.
We will perform Japanese local story and various stories with the original Air picture Scroll,
Music and Narration.
We conduct community activities.
We handmake pictures by painting long rolled films or sheet films and shou them to audience.
This activity started in elementary school in 2003.
with friends who met at book-reading activities .
A group of 8 women bring each strength and express it.
The picture scrolls according to music and talking
and the story moves.
Children say they were scared after being chased by mountain .
Then there is a story to go to hell.
The story of Kappa's Kusuke is a legend transmitted to the river in the area.
There are many other stories that are communicated to the community.
It's is a pleasure for us to have many children happy talking.
We will perform aroun about 20 times a year.
